Brad White, Principal, SES Consulting, makes the case for installing new controls technologies that incorporate real-time feedback on equipment performance and using strategies that weren’t available or cost effective at the time of the original build. He argues, “The rapid development of new controls technology combined with falling prices for many of these items has made these controls accessible for a relatively small investment.
